The 10 Best Solo DnD Adventures (Updated for 2025)

While Dungeons & Dragons is known as a group activity, over the past few years playing solo DnD has become increasingly popular, letting players delve into adventures without the need for a Dungeon Master or other party members. In fact, there are now dozens of adventures that are specifically designed for solo play. Most function much like the old Choose Your Adventure books, letting you pick different paths which can change the outcome of the narrative. At the same time, they also leverage the core DnD 5e rules, requiring dice rolls, character attributes and meaningful choices to guide exploration, combat and even social encounters.

So which ones are worth picking up? Below, we’ve put together a few of our favorites. To keep things simply, we’ve also included information on when the title was released, the publisher, the price and why we love it. So grab your dice and get ready for some single player action as we dig into… the 10 best solo DnD adventures.
